Diesel Additive Delivery in Staffordshire

We deliver diesel additives to homes and businesses throughout Staffordshire, Shropshire, Cheshire & Derbyshire. Having our own storage facilities ensures that our additive deliveries are always of the highest quality and that we are able to offer one of the best prices.

The performance of modern, tight-tolerance fuel injectors can be hugely impacted by solid deposits. You should seek quality diesel fuel additives to remove these deposits and prevent them from forming. This will ensure a more complete fuel burn, enhancing performance and fuel economy, as well as emissions control.

AdBlue for Diesel Engines

AdBlue helps to reduce the amount of harmful emissions released from diesel engines and is often mistakenly referred to as a diesel additive. However, AdBlue should be used in addition to additives. Most modern vehicles with a diesel engine will need AdBlue.

Same-Day Emergency Delivery

If you’re ordering an emergency fuel delivery, you can add diesel fuel additives to your same-day delivery order. Alternatively, we also provide an emergency collection service, with filled drums available for you to take away.

Next-Day Delivery

We also offer next-day delivery. You can add diesel additives to any next-day fuel delivery order (subject to availability).

How Do Diesel Additives Work?

Diesel fuel additives are diluted with your fuel. This solution flows along the fuel lines and into the injectors or carburettor, then into the combustion chamber. As it goes along, the solution will clean each part of the engine, removing deposits and bacteria to enable improved fuel efficiency.

Frequently Asked Questions

Modern diesels have lower lubrication properties, so diesel fuel additives can be a great way of preventing early engine wear and increasing fuel efficiency, especially in an older or high-mileage vehicle. They can also clean the fuel system and help prevent fungal growth. Overall, they make your diesel go further and keep your engine in the best condition for a longer life.

There are numerous different types of diesel fuel additives available that will all offer various levels of performance enhancement and engine protection. You can also find specific anti-wax and anti-bug additives.

This will always vary between products but, typically, 200ml will treat 10,000 litres of fuel. You should always refer to the additive manufacturer’s recommendations.

Adding diesel fuel additives every few thousand miles or during regular maintenance (such as oil changes) is common practice.

Lower-quality or contaminated diesel may need more use of additives to improve performance and protect the engine. Older or high-mileage diesel engines can benefit from more frequent use. If you regularly drive in stop-and-go traffic, tow heavy loads, or operate in extreme weather conditions, your engine will be subjected to more stress, so more frequent use of additives is advisable.

You should always refer to the additive manufacturer’s recommendations. Overuse of diesel fuel additives may not provide additional benefits and could lead to harmful effects.
