Exocet® Gas Oil Conditioner is a red diesel fuel additive that provides an all-in-one treatment for gas oil. It will improve day-to-day running of diesel engines and stabilise fuel during storage.
This fuel enhancer will raise the cetane number in diesel engines to reduce ignition delay. It improves overall combustion efficiency for improved emissions quality, lower noise and an increase in power.
It lubricates fuel pumps and lower deposit formation in injectors. The Gas Oil Conditioner also contains stability additives and a biocide at a ‘protect’ level to keep fuel fresh when it is stored for long periods. Fuel will stay fresh for up to 2 years, even when it contains up to 7% biodiesel.
The red diesel additive will counter any negative effects resulting from the introduction of the latest gas oil specifications, notably the reduction in sulphur content and the increase in the allowable FAME (biodiesel) content and will give improved fuel economy.
The product is formulated from recognised fuel additive components and should not void an engine manufacturer’s warranty. In fact, many engine manufacturers recognise the need for upgrade additives when red or green diesel is used.
This product can either be collected from our office in Cheadle, Staffordshire or we can deliver at the same time as your fuel delivery.

Regularly treating your fuel with a gas oil conditioner is crucial for maintaining optimal engine performance and longevity. The frequency of treatment depends on several factors. For standard passenger vehicles, treating the fuel every 3,000 to 5,000 miles (or at each oil change) is recommended to ensure clean fuel injectors and combustion chambers. For heavy-duty vehicles and commercial equipment, more frequent treatment, such as every other tank refill, may be beneficial. If you observe any symptoms of fuel system issues (such as rough idling, reduced fuel efficiency, or engine knocking), prompt treatment of the fuel is advisable, regardless of the usual interval.
