The exocet® Cooker Additive is a heating oil additive for AGA-style range cookers that reduces the Char Value of kerosene, improving its combustion performance and maintaining a clean burner for longer.
This specialist heating oil additive is designed to reduce the build up of carbon deposits and the growth of soot deposits in fuel storage tanks. This minimises the potential for fuel tank corrosion and other service problems in range cookers such as AGAs and Rayburns.
The Char Value of domestic kerosene (BS2869:C2) should have an upper limit of 20mg/kg, but over a decade of tests has shown it is often reaching between 16-30mg/kg. A typical range cooker will have difficulty coping with anything above 10-12mg/kg long-term, leading to carbon build-up around the burner. By using a heating oil additive to lower the Char Value, you can ensure greater control and consistent heat output.
This product can either be collected from our office in Cheadle, Staffordshire or we can deliver at the same time as your fuel delivery.

Standard delivery service assumes access to your fuel tank is within 60m of where the delivery tanker will park. We can accommodate deliveries to fuel tanks further than 60m away for an additional fee. Please select this option at checkout or when ordering over the phone.
