Stoddards at the Manifold Valley Show 2024 – A Day to Remember!
On Saturday 10th August 2024, we had the privilege of being part of the 44th Annual Manifold Valley Agricultural Show in Derbyshire, and it turned out to be an unforgettable day. Not only did we enjoy the event, but we also took home the Best Trade Stand Award 🥇! We are so proud to be recognised amongst the other exhibitors, and it’s an honour to be awarded for our stand.
Thank you to everyone who visited our stand. We had refreshments, giveaways, and our friendly team chatted with visitors about all things heating oils, fuels, lubricants, and more. The show is always a great opportunity to learn more about what we can provide while enjoying the fun and festivities.
Best Trade Stand Award
We had a fantastic day interacting with so many of you at our stand, and it was a joy to meet so many people from the community. The sunshine made a welcome appearance in the afternoon, and it turned into the perfect day to wander around and explore everything the show had to offer.
It’s always a pleasure to be a part of the Manifold Valley Show, and this year was no exception—especially with the added excitement of winning the Best Trade Stand Award. We’re so grateful for all your support, and we can’t wait to do it all again next year!
A Family Fun Day
The Manifold Show is known for its wide range of activities and competitions. From the exciting horse competitions—including the Heavy Horses, Dressage, and the crowd-favorite Chase me Charlie triple bar event—to the competitive Livestock Shows featuring Cattle, Sheep, and Poultry, the day was filled with action and community spirit.
But it wasn’t just about the animals! The Fun Dog Show with categories like Waggiest Tail and Best Biscuit Catcher had everyone entertained, and the quirky slow tractor race added to the fun. For the creative types, the show also offered 40 classes of Arts, Crafts & Home Produce, giving people the chance to showcase their talents.

If you couldn’t make it this year, don’t worry—the Manifold Valley Show 2025 is already on the calendar for Saturday 12th August 2025 at Ilam Moor Lane, Stanshope, Ashbourne, Derbyshire. We’ll be back and ready to join in on the fun again, and we encourage everyone to come along and enjoy this fantastic event.
