HOW TO BOOK

When you have chosen a holiday, please either call in to our office or telephone, and pay a non-refundable deposit of £50 per person, either by cash, cheque or debit/credit card (payments by credit cards incur a 1.5% charge). Alternatively use our booking form and post to our usual address, form available here. Simply open the document, which is in pdf format and will automatically open in your Adobe Reader. Then print using the printer icon at the top of the screen. Fill in by hand and post to the usual address.Full balance of holidays must be paid 6 weeks before the tour departs, if monies are not received by this time we reserve the right to re-sell your seats and retain your deposit. If you book a holiday within 6 weeks, the full amount will be due at time of booking. All tours must be booked at our main office: GREENHILL GARAGE, LEEK ROAD, CHEADLE TEL: 01538 754420/752253

PRICES

All prices shown are inclusive of holiday insurance & VAT@15%. Should the rate of VAT be altered the price of the tour may be increased. At the time of printing VAT on coach travel only is zero-rated, should VAT be applied, we will have to pass this on to our passengers. Price reductions for children up to the age of 12 are available on most tours when sharing with 2 full fare-paying passengers, please enquire with the office. Gratuities for drivers and hotel staff are not included in the price and are at your discretion.

EXCURSIONS

The holiday price includes excursions unless otherwise stated. Refunds can not be made for passengers not wishing to take these excursions, including those excursions where the admission price is included in the holiday. We, or the tour driver reserve the right to alter excursions in any way. Alterations are usually made for the continued enjoyment of a holiday for all passengers.

COACH SEATS

Only on payment of a deposit, coach seats will be reserved as designated by clients, usually from the front of the coach or as required. We reserve the right to change seating arrangements if necessary.

SMOKING

All seats are non-smoking on board the coach as well as smoking inside the hotels.

ANIMALS

Animals and pets are not carried on our coaches, except guide dogs for the blind.

MOBILE PHONES & RADIOS

The use of mobile phones and playing of clients radio cassette players are not permitted to be used whilst travelling.

COMFORT STOPS

Adequate stops will be made for meals, toilets etc. if you require the coach to stop before a scheduled stop, please do not hesitate to have a word with the driver. Meals whilst travelling are not included in the price or drinks from the machine on coaches, further information will be given by the driver.

LUGGAGE

Luggage space is not restricted, some hotels do not offer porterage ,therefore, you may have to carry your own suitcase, a small holdall may also be taken on board the coach.

LUGGAGE LABELS

Luggage labels will be issued on receipt of balance payments.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

Special requests, e.g low floor or special diets, must be ADVISED AT THE TIME OF BOOKING, and we will pass any requests to the hotelier, however, SPECIAL REQUESTS CANNOT BE GUARANTEED AND THEREFORE SOMETIMES YOU WILL NOT GET WHAT YOU ASKED FOR.

HOTEL LIFTS

Where a hotel provides a lift stated in the hotel description, please be aware in some hotels you will have no choice but to use the lift, as stairs are for fire exit use only. In the event of a fire, all lifts are out of bounds therefore you must be able to use the stairs.

AMENITIES & ENTERTAINMENTS

Some hotels offer additional facilities and entertainments. These amenities do from time to time need maintenance and cleaning and therefore are unavailable for a period of time of which we have no control over, also the nature and frequency of the entertainment is at the discretion of the hotel and is not guaranteed therefore could be withdrawn.

HEALTH

Please ensure you have sufficient supplies of any medication you may be receiving.

PROBLEMS & COMPLAINTS

If any problems arise during your holiday, please have a word with the driver, or if the problem concerns the hotel - the hotel manager. They will do their utmost to sort it out for you, please do this immediately to enable the problems to be rectified swiftly. PLEASE NOTE THE MAJORITY OF PROBLEMS CANNOT BE RECTIFIED ON YOUR RETURN.

ALTERATIONS OF HOLIDAYS

We assure you the company will do everything possible to carry out the operation of every tour as set out in our brochure, but at the same time the company reserves the right to amend excursions, meals, hotels etc. if necessary due to circumstances beyond our control. Any change in arrangements will be communicated as soon as possible.

IF WE CANCEL YOUR HOLIDAY

It is necessary for there to be a minimum number of passengers in order to operate each tour. If this minimum number is not achieved before the balance due date the tour will be cancelled. If this is the case you will be offered an alternative or a full refund will be made.

IF YOU CANCEL OR ALTER YOUR HOLIDAY

Should the situation arise whereby you have to cancel your holiday, please notify us in writing immediately. On canceling, a charge will be applied as set out by the Holiday Insurance Scheme. Upon receiving your cancellation we will send you a cancellation form. Deposits areNON-REFUNDABLE, should you wish to transfer to another holiday you may do so, upon which an amended invoice will be issued with an an administration charge of £5 added.

CONDITIONS OF CARRIAGE

When you travel on an aircraft, train or ship, the conditions of carriage of that carrier apply and are subject to National and International conditions which may limit or exclude liability. Your contract is made under the terms of the agreement and subject to English (Scottish) law and jurisdiction. Some coach journeys are operated by vehicles other than those owned by Stoddards Ltd and the specification may be different to that detailed in this brochure. The Public Service Vehicle (conduct of drivers, conductors & passengers) regulations as amended 1990 apply to all coaches throughout any holiday in the UK.

YOUR MONEY SAFEGUARD

Government legislation has made holiday bonding compulsory. All holiday monies received by ourselves will be placed in an escrow account, so that in the event of financial failure of our company, all your payments will be refunded.

TOUR STARTING POINT

All tours commence from Greenhill Garage, Leek Road Cheadle. Other picking up points should be arranged when paying your balance. Clients wishing to park their cars at our garage for the duration of their holidays are welcome to do so free of charge (all cars parked are at owners risk).

We appreciate that all the information you require or details of hotels etc. cannot be compressed into a small brochure. Therefore, for any further information, please enquire at our office.
